PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvi Rausku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rausku is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Prodigy - Girls (sexy girls mix). Wolfgang White had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Arvi Rausku told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rausku looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? White is fending him off so far but Rausku persists. Nope, White circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rausku shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches White napping and manages to drive through into side control!
White is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rausku has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White is trying to defend against the choke here but Rausku has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Rausku Tightens the hold and White taps out furiously! Rausku displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
