The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breckenmeyer swings for the body but Anisim moves out of range.
Breckenmeyer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anisim tries to avoid it but Breckenmeyer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anisim to the ground. Anisim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Breckenmeyer stuffs the takedown attempt from Anisim. Anisim gets slowly back to his feet.
Anisim takes one on the button.
Breckenmeyer wants to clinch up but Anisim keeps it at a distance.

Breckenmeyer takes the fight into the clinch.

Anisim slips a jab and a cross from Breckenmeyer.
Oh Anisim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anisim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Breckenmeyer pinned against the cage. Breckenmeyer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ilya Anisim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
