The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dos Santos shoots for a takedown but Overeem saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dos Santos fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Overeem drops Dos Santos with a left and a right! Oh, Dos Santos is hurt - Overeem dives into side control looking to finish!
Dos Santos is rocked!
It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Overeem stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Overeem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown but Overeem shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Dos Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dos Santos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Overeem sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dos Santos somewhat.
Overeem closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Dos Santos out cold! Dos Santos corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
