Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moses Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vern Lipton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone comes to the cage accompanied by Bell Tolls. Lipton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Chacarron Macarron. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Malone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Malone lands in his opponent's guard.
Malone controlling from the top position.
Lipton looking to control.
Malone is looking to work some ground and pound but Lipton has wrist control.
Malone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Malone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Malone trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Malone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Malone is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Malone is breathing heavily.
Malone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lipton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Malone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Moses Malone just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Malone moves away from the strike by Lipton.
Lipton looks to land a left hand but Malone moved out of range nicely.
Lipton misses with a straight right.
Lipton throws a shot from downtown. Malone moves away and avoids it.

Lipton darts in trying to clinch

and Malone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lipton's guard.

Lipton wants to stand but Malone is controlling the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lipton lands a brutal uppercut that launches Malone off his feet! Malone tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
