Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Whitez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Ruzzini!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitez throws a big shot that misses.
Ruzzini looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Whitez moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Ruzzini goes down! Can Whitez finish him!?


Ruzzini is rocked!


It looks like Tony Ruzzini has been cut.
Whitez slips nicely into half guard.
Ruzzini is still in real trouble! Can Whitez finish him?

Whitez seems to be looking for submissions.
Whitez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Ruzzini seems to have recovered his senses.
Whitez wants to free his trapped foot but Ruzzini is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Whitez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Whitez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ruzzini is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ruzzini won't allow Whitez to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Whitez is working for a kimura but Ruzzini is defending it quite comfortably.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ruzzini shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Whitez wants to improve his position but Ruzzini is controlling well.

Ruzzini shoots for a takedown but Whitez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ruzzini slips a jab from Whitez.
Ruzzini displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Whitez throws out the jab.
Sean Whitez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Whitez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ruzzini sprawling to the canvas! Ruzzini rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Whitez finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Whitez throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ruzzini clean off his feet! He's out cold! Whitez stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sean Whitez!
