Arathorm comes to the cage accompanied by Aragorn Soundtrack. Aragorn Arathorm has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Arathorm as Slow shoots in.
Slow fails with the takedown.
Arathorm defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Slow.
Aragorn Arathorm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Slow.

Slow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Arathorm is trying to defend but Slow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Arathorm looking for submissions off his back.
Slow landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Arathorm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slow defends well.

Arathorm has his foot on Slow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slow works his way back into a safe position though.

Arathorm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Slow postures up in Arathorm's guard and throws a big left but Arathorm blocks it.
Slow slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Slow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Arathorm looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Slow with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Slow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Slow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Slow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arathorm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slow has managed to get both his arms back between Arathorm's legs - danger averted.
Arathorm is breathing heavily.
Slow slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Slow has an Americana. Arathorm didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Slow is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Slow hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
