PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miyata Ichiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konji Yamaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ichiro comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Back. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamaski misses the shot to the body.
Ichiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yamaski's waist but Yamaski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ichiro off to one side.
Horrible takedown by Ichiro or perhaps it was just good defense by Yamaski which made him look bad.

Yamaski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Yamaski scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ichiro to see if he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Yamaski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ichiro kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
