Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vicky Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas throws a big shot that misses.
Vegas wants to slow Reefer down by chopping away at his legs.
Reefer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vegas to the mat! Vegas manages to get full guard.
Vegas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reefer is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reefer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vegas's head.
Vegas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Reefer stops Vegas from standing up.
Reefer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Reefer works over Vegas with some ground and pound from guard.
Vegas has his foot on Reefer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reefer works his way back into a safe position though.
Reefer is working Vegas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Reefer lands a couple of elbows.
Reefer wants to control from the top but Vegas keeps moving.

Vegas is trying to control Reefer's posture but Reefer avoids it.

Vegas manages to get back to half guard.
Reefer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vegas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Reefer throwing shots but Vegas is blocking nicely.

Vegas has hold of Reefer's hands but Reefer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Reefer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Vegas tries to roll over but Reefer keeps him under control.
Reefer scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Reefer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vegas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Reefer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Vegas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vegas.
Reefer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Reefer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vegas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Reefer.
Reefer passes Vegas's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Reefer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Reefer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vegas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reefer.
Vegas wants to improve his position but Reefer is controlling well.
Vegas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reefer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reefer's back!

Reefer is trying to break free.

Christopher Reefer dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vegas wants to clinch up but Reefer keeps it at a distance.
Reefer misses with a straight right.
Reefer lands a nice hook to Vegas's body. Vegas takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vegas works over Reefer's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Christopher Reefer has been cut.
Vegas misses the jab.
Reefer looks to throw the jab but Vegas is out of range.
Reefer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vegas as he avoids it easily.
Vegas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reefer.
Reefer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Vegas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reefer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Reefer is in close to Vegas's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Reefer is posturing up here but Vegas has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Reefer tries to roll out but it's too tight and Reefer has to tap! Slick submission there by Vegas!
