Ali kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Death to London. Chemical Ali could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Otway's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Otway, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Otway throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Otway misses with the combination.
Otway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Otway walks into a stiff left hand from Ali.
Otway misses with a few strikes there.
Otway fails to land with a series of punches.
Ali throws a one two combo.
Ali lands a lovely overhand right.

Ali darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Otway is looking for a sweep. Ali is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ali looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ali connects with a nice short shot to Otway's temple.
Otway wants to control but Ali is keeping busy.
Ali is taking a breather. Otway says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ali seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Otway does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ali has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Otway is rocked!
Otway circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Ali. Otway falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Ali!
