Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santi just misses with a punch to the body.
Mayoffer throws a head kick but Santi moves out of range.
Santi scores with a takedown into Mayoffer's guard.
Santi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Santi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Santi shoots in looking for a takedown. Mayoffer tries to sprawl out of it but Santi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mayoffer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mayoffer is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Santi.
Mayoffer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santi ducks under a wild hook from Mayoffer.

Horrible takedown by Santi or perhaps it was just good defense by Mayoffer which made him look bad.

Santi closes the distance and clinches up with Mayoffer, looking for a takedown. Santi pushes Mayoffer against the cage but Mayoffer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Santi throws a sloppy head kick and Mayoffer moves out of range easily.
Santi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mayoffer was well out of range. Poor timing from Santi.
Santi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mayoffer!
Santi lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Santi shoots for a takedown but Mayoffer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Santi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Santi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Santi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mayoffer!

Santi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mayoffer's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Santi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Chris Santi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mayoffer reaches up to try and control the position but Santi seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mayoffer rolls and tries to escape and now Santi has his back!

Santi is riding his opponent, not letting Mayoffer buck him off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santi is working for a rear naked choke. Mayoffer is not defending it well and Santi has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mayoffer refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mayoffer's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
