Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Zabitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Young I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Young I!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabitz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Young I.
Young I shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zabitz pinned against the cage. Zabitz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Zabitz keeps the fight on the outside.
Zabitz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Young I throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zabitz leaves Young I with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Young I misses with a head kick.
Young I tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zabitz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young I somewhat.

Young I throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zabitz's waist but Zabitz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Young I off to one side.
Zabitz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
