Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Serpico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sham Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sham Pow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Serpico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sham Pow!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Serpico lands with a kick to the temple. Pow shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Pow tries to close the distance and clinch but Serpico swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pow tries to clinch up.
Nice sprawl there from Pow as Serpico shoots in.
Pow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Serpico paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Serpico throws a nice looking combination but Pow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Serpico will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Serpico throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pow's waist but Pow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Serpico off to one side.

Serpico decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pow regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Serpico.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Serpico postures up in Pow's guard and throws a big left but Pow blocks it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pow has eaten all the pies!
Serpico pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pow is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pow working for a triangle but Serpico defends it easily.
Pow keeping moving, preventing Serpico from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Serpico lands a couple of digs.
Serpico working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Pow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Serpico gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Serpico throwing strikes from guard but Pow blocks nicely.
Serpico looking to pass the guard.
Pow manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Serpico is looking to improve his position but Pow isn't that keen on the idea.
Serpico is working hard here to advance position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Pow quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Pow but it's paid off an Serpico is forced to tap! Nice work by Pow.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sham Pow!
