Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nasty Dread (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasty Dread could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gegard Mousasi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nasty Dread!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gegard Mousasi!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dread stuffs the takedown attempt from Mousasi. Mousasi gets slowly back to his feet.
Mousasi lands with a kick to the temple. Dread shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dread avoids the head kick by Mousasi.
Dread stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dread wants it to stay on the feet.
Mousasi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dread pinned against the cage. Dread gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nasty Dread has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gegard Mousasi.
Dread closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mousasi circles away.
Dread will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dread throws a left that rocks Mousasi and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dread dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mousasi regain composure!

Mousasi is trying to control Dread's posture but Dread avoids it.
Mousasi is still in real trouble! Can Dread finish him?
Dread is trying to ground and pound but Mousasi uses the momentary lack of control by Dread to regain half guard.
Mousasi seems to have recovered his senses.
Dread is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mousasi is trying to control but can't.
Dread throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Dread drops an elbow to the side of Mousasi's head.

Mousasi has one foot on Dread's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Dread connects with a nice cross there... Mousasi is looking wobbly and Dread recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Mousasi to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Dread jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
