Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Joe Joe jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Joe jr comes to the ring accompanied by Moyuru (Sprouting). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Melo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Joe Joe jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Melo tries to clinch up.
Joe Joe jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Melo.

Joe Joe jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Melo's guard.

Melo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Joe Joe jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Melo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Joe Joe jr uses it to pass to side control.

Melo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Joe Joe jr has picked Melo up and slammed him! Melo can't keep hold of the triangle and Joe Joe jr manages to pass to side control!
