Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Dekker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dundun Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramon Dekker has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Dekker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dundun Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dekker misses with a head kick.

Fighter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dekker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dekker wants to get back to his feet but Fighter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dekker is looking to stand back up but Fighter counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dekker.
Fighter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dekker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fighter seems to be looking for submissions.
Fighter trying to pass the guard but Dekker defending well.
Fighter not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Dekker is staying active underneath Fighter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fighter is taking a breather. Dekker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fighter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fighter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dekker misses with a series of wild punches.
Dekker lands a head kick. Fighter smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dekker.

Fighter darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fighter looks gassed!

Dekker is not content to let Fighter control the position.
Dekker wants to get back to his feet.
Fighter is keen to just control but Dekker is a slippery customer.
Dekker pushes Fighter off looking to stand but Fighter dives back in and keeps control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fighter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dekker - the referee stops the clock and Fighter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dekker. Fighter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dekker throws a head kick that Fighter semi-blocks.


It looks like Dundun Fighter has been cut.

Donk. Dekker catches Fighter right on the button with a cross.
A solid body kick from Dekker.
Dekker goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

and Fighter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dekker is pressed up against the cage. Fighter has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dekker down to the mat. Dekker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dekker throws a head kick that half lands.
Dekker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fighter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fighter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dekker pinned against the cage. Dekker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
