PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between chok rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Vasiliskov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rivera has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. chok rivera looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasiliskov closes this distance looking for a takedown but rivera circles away.
rivera looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

rivera is looking to stand up but Vasiliskov isn't so interested in that idea.

chok rivera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Vasiliskov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but rivera pulls his head out easily.
Vasiliskov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Vasiliskov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for rivera!

Vasiliskov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as rivera is looking to escape.

Vasiliskov pushes a forearm under rivera's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, rivera is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
