Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tank Torchertime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Train comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Feuer Frei. Torchertime has chosen Ruff Ryders By DMX as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tank Torchertime!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torchertime tries to clinch up.
Train throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Torchertime stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Torchertime looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Torchertime closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Torchertime prevents Train from improving his position.

Torchertime seems to be working for a kimura but Train defends the submission attempt.
Train tries to roll over but Torchertime keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Train is working hard here to advance position.
Train is trying to maintain the position but Torchertime is very close to passing his half guard.

Torchertime not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Torchertime is looking for a kimura but Train is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Torchertime to get the leverage.
Train is trying to stand back up but Torchertime is controlling him

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Torchertime looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Train is fending him off so far but Torchertime persists. Nope, Train circles away and we're back to standing.
Torchertime lands a glancing blow to the side of Train's head.

Torchertime gets the takedown into side control.
Train is trying to control Torchertime's posture but Torchertime avoids it.
Torchertime advances to full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Train is trying desperately to improve position.

Torchertime looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Train tries to improve his position but instead Torchertime has taken his back!
Torchertime doesn't have the hooks in and Train manages to turn into his guard.
Train is looking to work some ground and pound but Torchertime has wrist control.

Train thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Torchertime's head.
Train throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Torchertime trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Train manages to pass to mount!

Train looking to ground and pound but Torchertime is blocking nicely.

Torchertime bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Train is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Train wants to sweep here but Torchertime controlling him for the moment.

A close round but Tank Torchertime will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Torchertime throws a series of punches but Train avoids them all with ease.
Torchertime tries to bum rush Train with a series of wild strikes but Train uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Train fails to land with a series of punches.
Torchertime wants to clinch up but Train keeps it at a distance.

Train closes the distance and pushes Torchertime back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Train is leaning against Torchertime and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Train wants to get back to striking at distance but Torchertime won't allow it.
A head punch on the inside from Train fails to land.
Torchertime blocks an uppercut.
Train looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Train escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Torchertime misses with a double jab
and Train counters with a one-two to the body.

Train with a jab.
Train throws out a leg kick but Torchertime moves out of range and Train only half commits.
Train throws a low kick but it's checked well by Torchertime.
Torchertime throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Train stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Torchertime throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Torchertime moves into the clinch.

Train breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Train lands a jab to the nose.

Torchertime moves into range and clinches up with Train.
Train misses with some punches.
Train tries to break free but Torchertime pushes him back against the cage.
Train is trying to break the clinch but Torchertime is controlling him.
Torchertime makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Torchertime looking for a takedown.

Train wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Train blocks an uppercut.

Torchertime gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Torchertime drops back, looking for a kneebar! Train looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Train looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Train!
Torchertime is breathing heavily.
Train misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Train throwing strikes but Torchertime manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Torchertime wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Train, who protects the arm well.
Torchertime creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Train sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Torchertime throws an elbow but Train slips to the side and avoids it well.
Train is trying to buck Torchertime off.
Torchertime connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Train some visible discomfort.

Torchertime is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Train is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Torchertime tries for a kimura but Train is defending well.

Train manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Torchertime walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Torchertime throws out a loose jab but Train uses good head movement to avoid it.

Train gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Torchertime to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Torchertime takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Train tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Torchertime is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Train is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Train has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Train advances to half guard.
Train not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Train works his way into side control.

Train misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Torchertime tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Train stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jab, jab by Train - just one landing.
Train throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Torchertime counter with a right hand.
Train bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Torchertime swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Train counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A jab lands there for Train.
Mike Train is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Torchertime swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Train.
Train throws a right hand that Torchertime ducks under and follows up with a left that Torchertime also avoids with ease.
Train misses with an uppercut. Torchertime saw that one coming.
Torchertime will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Torchertime wants to clinch.
Mike Train has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A combination from Torchertime does no damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tank Torchertime.
I've got Torchertime winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
