Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Gavrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivok Smolar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smolar has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Gavrik.
Smolar stalks Gavrik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gavrik's face. Gavrik staggers backwards, shaken.
Gavrik takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Smolar scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gavrik in his tracks.
Gavrik misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gavrik throws the left hand but Smolar avoids the punch easily.
Gavrik takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Smolar misses with a wild combination.
Smolar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gavrik's hands.
Gavrik misses with a combination
and Smolar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Gavrik is rocked!

Smolar closes the distance and clinches.
Smolar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Gavrik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gavrik has had enough of the clinch but Smolar keeps him there for the moment.
Gavrik seems to have got his legs back now.
Gavrik looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Smolar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gavrik dodges the punch combination from Smolar.

and Smolar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Smolar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Smolar closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smolar scores with a punch to the head.
Gavrik lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Smolar gets a clinch.
Smolar lands with a light punch inside.

Smolar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ivok Smolar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smolar tries to close the distance and clinch but Gavrik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smolar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gavrik seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Smolar shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gavrik is backing up but Smolar catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gavrik covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Smolar Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
