Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Bundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig Thomas!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Bundy!
Thomas scores with the left hand. Bundy knows he should have avoided that one.

Thomas gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Thomas is controlling Bundy's posture.
Thomas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas wants to stand up but Bundy is controlling him.
Thomas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bundy is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bundy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Thomas has his hands on Bundy's head, controlling the position.
Bundy trying to control but Thomas is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bundy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Thomas, pushing him back against the cage.
Thomas is trying to break the clinch but Bundy has him pressed against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nice elbow from Bundy.


It looks like Craig Thomas has been cut.
Thomas wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bundy blocks a jab.
Thomas throws a jab but it's blocked by Bundy.
Bundy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thomas as he avoids it easily.
Bundy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Thomas missing with a left hand there. Bundy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Thomas throws out a loose jab but Bundy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thomas throws a looping overhand right but Bundy ducks down to avoid it.
Bundy shoots in for a takedown but Thomas shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Bundy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thomas takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Thomas keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Thomas dips to his left and cracks Bundy with an uppercut!
Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bundy tries to clinch up but Thomas circles away and keeps his distance.
Bundy ducks under a wild hook from Thomas.
Thomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thomas lands a right hook to the body.
Thomas digs a good body shot into Bundy's ribs.
Bundy is breathing heavily.
Thomas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bundy on the side of the head.
Thomas thuds his right hand into Bundy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Thomas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bundy sprawling to the canvas! Bundy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thomas finish him?!
Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Thomas lands a big right hand that sends Bundy crashing to the mat! Thomas stays standing though and waves Bundy back to his feet!


Bundy is rocked!
Thomas misses with a wild combination.
Oh Bundy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thomas ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Bundy's jaw. Bundy's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Thomas does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Craig Thomas!
