Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JF Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JF Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Milo Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Milo Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kennedy.

Phillips darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Phillips might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Milo Phillips comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Phillips has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
