A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Guerreiro. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renan Silva!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kositzky misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kositzky takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Kositzky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Kositzky finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kositzky is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silva.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kositzky circles away.

Kositzky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kositzky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
