Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunmetal Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asmir Zslevski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grey comes to the cage accompanied by Killed By Death. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Gunmetal Grey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asmir Zslevski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zslevski takes a swing at Grey's ribcage but misses.
Grey misses the jab.
Zslevski looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Zslevski misses the shot to the body.
Grey misses with a low kick.
Zslevski throws a head kick that misses.
Grey throws a leg kick but Zslevski sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Grey slips a straight right by Zslevski.
Grey throws a lazy head kick

and Zslevski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grey's guard now.
Zslevski wants to control from the top but Grey keeps moving.
Grey is trying to control the position but Zslevski postures up.
Grey wants to get back to his feet but Zslevski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Zslevski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zslevski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Grey throws a leg kick but Zslevski sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Grey misses with a low kick as Zslevski jumps back.
Grey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zslevski is looking to land body kicks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Grey moves out of range as Zslevski strikes.
Grey does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Grey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Grey throws a sloppy head kick and Zslevski moves out of range easily.
Grey stuffs the takedown.
Grey misses with a wild body shot.
Grey walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zslevski.
Zslevski just misses with a punch to the body.
Zslevski misses with a few strikes there.
Grey scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Grey misses with a head kick.
Grey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Grey pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grey feints and then cracks Zslevski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zslevski down.
Grey finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Grey scores with a nice right hand.
Grey defending well as Zslevski loads up on a big left hand.
Zslevski missing with a left hand there. Grey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Grey scores with a hook to the body. Zslevski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Grey lands with an uppercut that bounces Zslevski off the cage and back into rage.
Grey thows a leg kick but Zslevski checks it

and Zslevski counters with a takedown into side control.

Zslevski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Grey, who protects the arm well.

Zslevski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Zslevski goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Grey rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zslevski's guard! Nice work there by Grey!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grey postures up in Zslevski's guard and throws a big left but Zslevski blocks it.

Grey has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zslevski to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Grey is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zslevski pulls down on the head and he's put Grey to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Asmir Zslevski!
