The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kamahata.
Kamahata is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kusanagi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kamahata swings around for an armbar but Kusanagi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kamahata's guard.
Kusanagi drops back looking for a leg! Kamahata is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kamahata manages to kick Kusanagi off! Kusanagi jumps back into Kamahata's guard.
Kusanagi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kamahata. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kusanagi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kamahata is keeping the position for now.
Kamahata wants to sweep but no luck.
Kamahata has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kusanagi doesn't defend quickly enough and Kamahata has managed to lock this one up! Can Kusanagi escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kamahata on a fantastic submission victory.
