The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaiho lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Jaakko Martikka has been cut.
Jaakko Martikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaiho looks to land a right hand but Martikka moved out of range.
A big left from Kaiho misses.
Kaiho just misses with a punch to the body.
Martikka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kaiho swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kaiho leaves Martikka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kaiho stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kaiho wants it to stay on the feet.
Martikka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Martikka shoots in but Kaiho avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaakko Martikka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martikka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Martikka takes one to the side of the head.
Martikka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Martikka is breathing heavily.

Kaiho lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Martikka or not.

Martikka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kaiho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kaiho scores with the left hand. Martikka knows he should have avoided that one.
Martikka tries to get into range but Kaiho steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Martikka! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Kaiho scores the big KO victory!
