Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shun Oguri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koo Von (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Koo Von enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koo Von!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von dives in and grabs Oguri's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oguri pushes down on Von's head and hops out.
Oguri throws the kick towards the body but Von avoids it.
Von will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Oguri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oguri is taking a breather. Von says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Oguri is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Von doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oguri.

Von trying to hold on to Oguri's head to control him but Oguri postures up.
Oguri is looking to stall here but Von recovers full guard.
Oguri wants to stand and escape but instead Von has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Von drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Von jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Von drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Von seems to have locked his on tight now - Oguri screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Von, as he picks up the win!
