The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lukens with that takedown attempt.

Lukens feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McRedd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lukens looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McRedd scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lukens in his tracks.
McRedd swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lukens.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McRedd smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lukens seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. McRedd shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Lukens is backing up but McRedd catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Lukens covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! McRedd Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
