Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bin Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bin Laden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Tyler!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laden.
Laden takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Tyler drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Tyler throwing strikes but missing.
Tyler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Laden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Laden working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tyler has passed into half guard!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Laden makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Laden.

Tyler throws and elbow that misses. Laden uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tyler's guard. Nice move by Laden!

Laden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Laden wants to pass the guard but Tyler is keeping the position.
Tyler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Laden's guard.

Laden looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tyler stands up over Laden, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tyler throws a strike but Laden rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Laden is pushing down on Tyler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyler is fighting to maintain full guard but Laden has managed to sneak the leg through.
Laden is looking to advance position but Tyler won't allow it.
Laden moves nicely into side control.

Laden is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tyler has escaped the position, nice work there.
Laden is breathing heavily.
Laden wants to control but Tyler is keeping him busy.
Laden is really struggling to control Tyler but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Laden tries for a kimura but Tyler is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tyler can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tyler is looking to regain half guard here but Laden keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tyler prevents Laden from moving into mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Laden checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Tyler closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Laden to the mat! Laden manages to get full guard.
Tyler wants to stand but Laden is controlling his posture from full guard.
Laden has momentary wrist control but Tyler slips an elbow through the middle.

Jake Tyler dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Tyler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laden as he avoids it easily.
Tyler closes the distance and clinches up with Laden, looking for a takedown. Tyler pushes Laden against the cage but Laden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tyler shoots in but no luck this time.
Bin Laden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Tyler.

Tyler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tyler misses with a series of wild punches.
Tyler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bin Laden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Laden closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Laden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tyler is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tyler is refusing to be controlled, as Laden sits in half guard.
Tyler tries to kick Laden off but Laden keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Laden is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tyler sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tyler makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Tyler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tyler lands a nice short elbow.

Tyler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Laden avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Tyler is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tyler chips away with some ground and pound.
Tyler thows a big elbow that misses.
Tyler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jake Tyler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

I've got Tyler winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
