Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Boxer Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henri TW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Boxer Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henri TW!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer Jr fails with the takedown.
Boxer Jr with a nice cross.


It looks like Henri TW has been cut.
Boxer Jr scores with a nice right hand.
TW misses with a takedown
and Boxer Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boxer Jr shoots and misses

so TW counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boxer Jr keeping moving, preventing TW from controlling successfully.

TW thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
TW looking to pass the guard.
TW trying to control but Boxer Jr is working from the bottom.
Boxer Jr wants to sweep here but TW controlling him for the moment.

TW drops back looking for a leg! Boxer Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boxer Jr manages to kick TW off! TW jumps back into Boxer Jr's guard.
TW missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
TW with a poor takedown
and Boxer Jr counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Boxer Jr lands a body shot.
TW looks gassed!
Boxer Jr throws a combination. TW tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Boxer Jr thuds his right hand into TW's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

TW takes one on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Boxer Jr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. TW looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Boxer Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boxer Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
TW can't do much from the bottom here.
Boxer Jr landing strikes.
TW tries to bench press Boxer Jr off him but Boxer Jr keeps the position.
TW is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
TW takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

TW parries the strikes from Boxer Jr easily there. Boxer Jr is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable TW to escape.
TW wants to control but Boxer Jr postures up.
TW misses with a strike from the bottom.
TW tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boxer Jr wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Boxer Jr trying to control the action but TW is working from the bottom.
Boxer Jr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because TW is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
TW sneaks back into half guard.
Boxer Jr winds up and cracks TW with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
TW is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Boxer Jr scores with a couple of nice shots.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Boxer Jr is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Boxer Jr is nestled in close to TW, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Well, if Boxer Jr is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Boxer Jr is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
TW slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
TW keeping full guard, as Boxer Jr tries to pass.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
TW doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Boxer Jr scores with a hook to the body. TW takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Good exchange - Boxer Jr coming out on top.

Boxer Jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boxer Jr lands in his opponent's guard.
Boxer Jr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
TW keeping moving, preventing Boxer Jr from controlling successfully.

TW working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boxer Jr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boxer Jr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
TW lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boxer Jr!

Boxer Jr sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
TW is keen to just control but Boxer Jr is a slippery customer.
Boxer Jr moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Boxer Jr keeping moving, preventing TW from controlling successfully.
Boxer Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but TW is one step ahead there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boxer Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but TW can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
TW gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boxer Jr counters with a straight right hand.

Boxer Jr shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches TW napping and manages to drive through into side control!
TW is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Boxer Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for TW on the ground.
TW is breathing heavily.
TW throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Boxer Jr is looking to take a break and control but TW is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
TW regains half guard.

TW looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
TW is trying to maintain the position but Boxer Jr is very close to passing his half guard.
Boxer Jr takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Boxer Jr wants to control but TW is keeping him busy.

TW looking for submissions off his back.
TW on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Boxer Jr is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Boxer Jr is trying to control the action in half guard but TW is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Boxer Jr throwing shots but TW is blocking nicely.
Boxer Jr is keen to just control but TW is a slippery customer.
TW has hold of Boxer Jr's hands but Boxer Jr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

TW looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

TW is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boxer Jr pulls his head out easily.
Boxer Jr working over TW with some ground and pound. TW looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Boxer Jr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That has opened up Henri TW's cut even more.

Boxer Jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boxer Jr winds up and cracks TW with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

TW with a lazy takedown attempt
and Boxer Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
TW on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Boxer Jr jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

TW shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

TW working for a submission but Boxer Jr is keeping him at bay.
Joe Boxer Jr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Boxer Jr is trying desperately to improve position.
TW takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

TW is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Boxer Jr has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Boxer Jr!
TW controls Boxer Jr momentarily but Boxer Jr frees himself.

TW is looking for a triangle but Boxer Jr pushes his legs off easily.
Boxer Jr is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

TW looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boxer Jr wants to control from the top but TW keeps moving.
TW can't keep his opponent in guard - Boxer Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Henri TW has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Boxer Jr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
