Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Garvin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Garvin throws a hook but Jackson avoids it easily.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garvin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Garvin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
Garvin throws a leg kick that misses.
Garvin looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garvin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jack Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Garvin.
Garvin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Garvin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Garvin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Garvin is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Garvin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jackson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jackson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Garvin takes a swing at Jackson's ribcage but misses.
Garvin misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Garvin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Garvin misses with a head kick.
Jackson tries a low kick but Garvin avoids it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Garvin checks a leg kick.

Garvin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Garvin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jackson uses from the top position.
