The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Christenssen circles away.
Christenssen takes a swing at Raty's ribcage but misses.
Raty avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Raty keeps control of Christenssen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Christenssen tries to bum rush Raty with a series of wild strikes but Raty uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Christenssen misses with a body shot.
Raty shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Christenssen but Christenssen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Christenssen fails with the takedown.

Raty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Raty thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Raty working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Christenssen's head.
Raty wants to control from the top but Christenssen keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Raty advances to half guard.
Raty is just content to waste time from the top position. Christenssen takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Raty is tying to control. Christenssen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Christenssen won't allow Raty to pass to mount.
Raty is trying to control the action in half guard but Christenssen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Christenssen kicks off Raty and gets to his feet.
Christenssen cracks Raty with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Raty looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Christenssen finish him?

Raty looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Raty gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Raty seems to have recovered his senses.

Christenssen punishes Raty's body with a nice straight punch.
Christenssen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Raty paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Christenssen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Raty's sensitive parts.
Raty takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Christenssen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Raty has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Christenssen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Christenssen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Raty avoids the head kick by Christenssen.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Raty seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Christenssen shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Raty is backing up but Christenssen catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Raty covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Christenssen Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
