Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Floppy McPoppins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadollah Amir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amir bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Amir. That's going to slow McPoppins down.
McPoppins shoots in for a takedown but Amir shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McPoppins dives in and grabs Amir's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amir pushes down on McPoppins's head and hops out.
Amir is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McPoppins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Amir can pounce on him.
McPoppins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Amir as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Floppy McPoppins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Amir throws a head kick but McPoppins moves out of range.

McPoppins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
McPoppins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McPoppins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Amir knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Amir is looking to control McPoppins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amir avoid being mounted?
McPoppins throwing shots but Amir is blocking nicely.
Amir regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from McPoppins.
McPoppins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Amir works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Amir manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McPoppins is looking to improve his position but Amir isn't that keen on the idea.

Amir has hold of McPoppins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McPoppins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Amir is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McPoppins can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Amir is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. McPoppins is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. McPoppins flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Amir anticipates the leg and manages to get behind McPoppins and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Amir slips an arm under McPoppins chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Amir has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Amir is squeezing on McPoppins like an anaconda would it's prey. McPoppins fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
