The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter scores with a takedown into Jacksson's guard.
Jacksson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carter's guard.
Jacksson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jacksson advances position into side control!

Carter wants to get back to his feet but Jacksson drags him back down.
Carter prevents Jacksson from moving into mount.
Jacksson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
An elbow from Jacksson crashes against the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Carter scores with a jab. Jacksson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Quintonn Jacksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacksson fails with the takedown

and Carter counters with a nice right hand that sends Jacksson toppling to the canvas! Jacksson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Carter finish him?!

It looks like Quintonn Jacksson has been cut.
