The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from mac Cumhail. Carson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fionn mac Cumhail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
mac Cumhail tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
mac Cumhail changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carson tries to avoid it but mac Cumhail manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carson to the ground. Carson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
