Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romano shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Vladimir Romano has been cut.
Romano takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Romano on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Overdrive stuffs the takedown.
Overdrive throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Romano shoots for a double leg takedown but Overdrive sprawls well. He's pushed Romano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Romano fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Romano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Good standup being displayed there by Overdrive as he connects with a hook.
Overdrive bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Romano's head backwards.
Romano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Overdrive swivels and escapes.
Romano misses with a combination
and Overdrive connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Overdrive lands an overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Overdrive darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Romano ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Romano could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Overdrive rushes Romano with punches - Romano moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Romano goes down! Overdrive follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
