The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage cracks a nice hook into Witherspoon's ribs.
Savage just misses with a punch to the body.
Savage scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Steve Witherspoon has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Savage stalks Witherspoon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Witherspoon's face. Witherspoon staggers backwards, shaken.
Witherspoon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Witherspoon tries a head kick but it misses.
Witherspoon lands with a cross.
Savage lands the left hand.

Savage cracks Witherspoon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Witherspoon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Savage finish him?

Witherspoon is rocked!
Witherspoon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Savage thuds a left hand into Witherspoon's body.
Witherspoon is breathing heavily.

Savage fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A cross from Savage lands.
Witherspoon staying out of range there.
Savage misses with a two punch combination.
Savage swings for the body but Witherspoon moves out of range.
Savage looks to throw the jab but Witherspoon is out of range.
Witherspoon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Savage counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Savage misses with a double jab.

Savage drops Witherspoon with a beautiful combination! Witherspoon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Savage is looking for the KO!
Oh Witherspoon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Witherspoon tries to get into range but Savage steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Witherspoon! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Savage scores the big KO victory!
