The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Silva avoids the head kick by Phoenix .
Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Phoenix looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Phoenix looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Phoenix throws a leg kick but Silva moved away.
Silva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Phoenix misses with a hook.
Phoenix tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Silva lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Phoenix can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silva and Phoenix drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silva.
