Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between raul hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Leclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leclair is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by king crimson - 21st century schizoid man . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hernandez fails with a takedown attempt.
hernandez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Leclair takes a swing at hernandez's ribcage but misses.

Leclair keeps the fight on the outside.
Leclair scores with a nice strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
hernandez throws an overhand right that lands on Leclair's shoulder, as Leclair tries to avoid the shot.

hernandez throws a front kick aimed at Leclair's knee but Leclair avoids it well.

Leclair has closed the distance and engaged hernandez in a clinch.
Leclair unloads a knee to the mid-section. hernandez lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
hernandez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Leclair has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
hernandez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leclair walks away with a smile on his face. hernandez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Leclair jerks hernandez's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! hernandez drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Leclair goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Leclair because hernandez was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
