Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ismo Laitela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladislav Koloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laitela closes the distance and clinches up with Koloff, looking for a takedown. Laitela pushes Koloff against the cage but Koloff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Laitela tries to close the distance and clinch but Koloff swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Koloff has eaten all the pies!

Laitela throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Koloff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laitela swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Laitela manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koloff manages to get himself to full guard.

Koloff is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Laitela's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Laitela's back!

Laitela closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Laitela postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Koloff is looking to reverse the position.

Laitela decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Koloff throws a leg kick which misses Laitela's front leg but catches the back leg as Laitela tries to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Koloff. Laitela does a little dance to reset his feet.

Laitela is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Koloff rolls with it to try and escape but Laitela cranks on the arm and Koloff is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
