Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Bika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bika comes to the cage accompanied by My Decision. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope punishes Bika's body with a nice straight punch.
Pope is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bika.
Pope lands an overhand right.
Pope lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pope bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Bika shoots in looking for a takedown. Pope tries to sprawl out of it but Bika keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pope manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pope might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bika wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pope swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pope rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bika moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bika's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Elvis Bika is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pope changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pope, as that shot connected.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Luther Pope showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bika looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pope clobbers Bika with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Bika looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Bika changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pope looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bika postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Elvis Bika.
