Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigante Guerreiro Daileon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Hardcore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daileon comes to the cage accompanied by Akira Kushida - Chou Wakusei Sentou Boukan Daileon. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardcore doesn't manage to clinch there - Daileon circles away.
Hardcore should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Daileon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hardcore is trying to keep an underhook but Daileon manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hardcore can do anything to dispel that myth.
Daileon wants to control but Hardcore is keeping him busy.

Daileon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hardcore does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Daileon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Daileon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Gigante Guerreiro Daileon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Daileon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardcore to the mat! Hardcore manages to get full guard.

Daileon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hardcore manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Daileon has Hardcore in his guard.

Hardcore controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Hardcore must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Daileon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hardcore has Daileon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Daileon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Daileon is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hardcore can't fight it off and eventually Daileon manages to take the fight to the floor. Hardcore looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hardcore throws a strike but Daileon avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Hardcore looking to sit in guard and control but Daileon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Daileon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Daileon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardcore's guard.

That's time! Daileon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Hardcore bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Daileon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Daileon has gone for a leg lock! Hardcore slips out almost immediately though and dives into Daileon's guard.
Daileon is pulling down on Hardcore's head. It's preventing any offense from Hardcore, at least for the moment.
Hardcore wants to get up but he can't break Daileon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
