Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geoff Morrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morrison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Morgan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Morrison shoots for a double leg takedown but Morgan sprawls well. He's pushed Morrison's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morgan lands with a big left! Morrison is wobbled badly! Morgan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Morrison to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David Morgan!
