The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimabukuro scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Shimabukuro fails with a takedown attempt.
Shimabukuro lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shimabukuro.

Ramsey pushes Shimabukuro up against the cage in a clinch.
Ramsey has Shimabukuro pressed against the cage, preventing Shimabukuro from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Shimabukuro is trying to break the clinch but Ramsey is controlling him.
Ramsey comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ramsey creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Shimabukuro's defenses.

Shimabukuro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ramsey walks away with a smile on his face. Shimabukuro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ramsey closes the distance and clinches.
Shimabukuro is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ramsey pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kenny Ramsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iwao Shimabukuro.
Ramsey lands a big knee! That's hurt Shimabukuro! Oh, he's all over the place! Ramsey lands another knee that sends Shimabukuro to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
