The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wesley Myers's waist but Wesley Myers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Wesley Myers paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wesley Myers was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Wesley Myers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jackson swings around for an armbar but Wesley Myers sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jackson's guard.

Wesley Myers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
