The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niska looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Niska persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.
Niska shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Davis sprawls well. Davis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Niska gets slowly back to his feet.
Niska closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davis circles away.
Gray Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adelai Niska.
Niska shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense.
Niska tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davis swivels and escapes.

Niska shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Niska keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davis throws a head kick that half lands.

Niska shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Davis defends it nicely.

Davis moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Davis cracks Niska with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Niska looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Davis finish him?
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Niska stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Davis has closed the distance and engaged Niska in a clinch.
Davis prevents a takedown attempt there.
Niska seems to have recovered his senses.

Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Davis steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Niska is out on his feet! Davis sets himself and nearly takes Niska's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
