Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spike Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hug is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by chicago bulls theme song. Hug has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The key to victory for Spike Law has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Hug!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law misses with a hook. Hug ducked under it nicely.
Hug looks gassed!
Law misses with a jab, cross combination.
Law swinging wildly here.
Law lands a really nice looking cross but Hug seems unphased.
Law throws a big shot that misses.
Nice shot lands for Law.

That has opened up Randy Hug's cut even more.
Law throws a right and a left that both miss.
Law tries to bum rush Hug with a series of wild strikes but Hug uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Law throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hug stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Law throws a hook to the side of Hug's head but Hug sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Law throws a one two combo.
Spike Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hug uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Law.
Hug defending well as Law loads up on a big left hand.
Law lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jab by Law.

The cut above Randy Hug's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Law connects with a nice looking jab.
Hug closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Law dips to his left and cracks Hug with an uppercut!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Law, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A clash of legs there as Law blocks the low kick.
A shot to de liver by Law. Beautiful body shot.
Law rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hug moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Law misses the target.
Law jabs Hug right on the nose. Hug blinks but takes it well.

Randy Hug's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Law misses with a jab, cross combination.
Law is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Law throws a looping overhand right but Hug ducks down to avoid it.
Law throws the left hand but Hug avoids the punch easily.
Law slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Law scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Randy Hug's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
