Damascus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. seek n strike - soulfly kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damascus tries to clinch up but Rizzo circles away and keeps his distance.

Rizzo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rizzo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Damascus some visible discomfort.

Rizzo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Damascus lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rizzo backs up against the cage.
Damascus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Damascus has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rizzo uses from the top position.
