Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Jason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sensei Raki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocco Jason has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jason napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Raki looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Raki tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Jason is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Raki is controlling him well.
Raki trying to control the position but Jason is working away.
Jason is trying to buck Raki off.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jason throws a low kick, looking for Raki's leg but Raki calmly moves out of range.
Raki checks the leg kick.

Jason tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Raki is able to avoid easily.
Jason swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Jason really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Some bone on bone action there as Raki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jason with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Raki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Raki showed some decent athleticism there.

Raki is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Raki prevents Jason from standing back up.

Raki is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raki is looking for a kimura but Jason is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Raki to get the leverage.
Raki looks gassed!

Raki seems to be looking for submissions.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jason is defending against the submission attempts here by Raki.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jason throws out a leg kick but Raki moves out of range and Jason only half commits.
Jason motions for Raki to come forward. Jason throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Raki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Jason is looking to get back to is feet but Raki passes into side control.

Raki tries for a kimura but Jason is defending well.
Raki creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jason sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Raki has an Americana. Jason didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Raki is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Raki hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
