Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between miguel alfredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoosier Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoosier Daddy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

alfredo instigates a clinch.
Daddy is pressed up against the cage. alfredo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Daddy down to the mat. Daddy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hoosier Daddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Daddy scores with a takedown into alfredo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daddy throwing strikes but missing.
alfredo is looking to stand up but Daddy isn't so interested in that idea.
alfredo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

alfredo is trying to stand.

Daddy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and alfredo defends it well.
Daddy is pressing down on alfredo's thigh, looking to free his foot. alfredo is holding on for now.

alfredo is pressing down on Daddy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
alfredo wants to stand but Daddy is controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Daddy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Daddy lands in his opponent's guard.
alfredo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

alfredo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Daddy dives into side control.

Daddy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Daddy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

alfredo explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

alfredo shoots in and bounces Daddy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Daddy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. alfredo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

alfredo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hoosier Daddy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Daddy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches alfredo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
alfredo regains half guard.

Daddy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

alfredo kicks off Daddy and gets to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Daddy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
An inside leg kick lands from alfredo.
alfredo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Daddy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Daddy pushes alfredo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, alfredo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

alfredo is looking to take a break and control but Daddy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Daddy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, alfredo asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Daddy manages to get back to half guard.
alfredo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

alfredo wants to get back to his feet but Daddy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

alfredo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by alfredo.

That was slick! alfredo rolls with it to try and escape but Daddy cranks on the arm and alfredo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
