Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mario Ahner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ronaldo Gracie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahner fails to land with a series of punches.
Ahner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ahner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ahner tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Ahner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ahner tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Ahner wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Gracie swings for the body but Ahner moves out of range.
Ahner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ahner pinned against the cage. Ahner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ahner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ahner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the ropes.

Gracie pulls guard successfully.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ahner is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ahner has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
