Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Ornias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In The Morning. Ariel Ornias has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ornias slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Smith wants to clinch.
Ornias misses with a wild combination.

Ornias throws a good cross that connects.
Ornias misses with a looping right.
Ornias throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Ornias swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Ornias throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Smith shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ornias is trying to defend but Smith finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Smith is working for a submission of some sort.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
